Combining her passion for sustainability with her flair for design, Jo launched her own brand, JoHeath, to raise awareness of the importance of consumer choice by balancing beautiful designs without compromising on the materials used.
Jo’s passion for sustainability and nature derives from her childhood upbringing in the countryside in a valley in Worcestershire, England. Jo’s family lived in an old coaching inn dating back to the 15th century so being surrounded by history, sustainability and nature was always a way of life. Jo often reflects on how this has influenced her life and design ethos.
As part of Jo’s creative journey, Jo has chosen to collaborate with Ecomare. Ecomare is a sanctuary on the island of Texel in The Netherlands which cares for young and sick seals and birds covered in oil. It also provides them with shelter until they can be released into the wild. With every item purchased a contribution will be made to the Ecomare charity
Animals and nature are a huge inspiration to Jo's designs, reminding her of her childhood.
From being a trend forecaster, Jo wanted to create a range of accessories that are individual to what you need and will be timeless for years to come.
